The rear wiper on my 52 plate Avensis got stuck 'on' a while back, regardless of the position of the stalk. Apparently they tend to have a bit of bother with this sort of thing. So I followed all the advice, removed the motor, cleaned it out, scrubbed up the contacts behind the wheel thingy, reassembled the whole deal, wired it up again and whaddya know, it's exactly the same as it was before, only cleaner.
So, my queries
a) Anyone got any bright ideas?
b) Anyone know of anyone with an Avensis who might let me try swapping motors so I can figure out if it's the motor that's the prob or is it something else? Don't want to buy another til I know if that's really the prob. Could be a relay or even the stalk, right?
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. I'd rather it was sorted before I flog it.
